Members of Parliament should focus their attention on the quality of the government institutions.A three-member bench of the Supreme Court led by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Ch conducted hearing of the case regarding cancellation of community school projects.FBR Chairman Salman Siddique put the amount collected as Iqra surcharge during the tenure of previous government. According to the report, about Rs 66 billion have been collected as Iqra surcharge from 1985 to 1994.The SC has called the Secretary Finance to the court and ordered him to submit expenditure report in this regard. However, the secretary has requested the court for some time to submit report.
