Summary Secretary Petroleum said domestic consumers will have to face shortage of gas by 40% in winter.
A special meeting would be held to prepare a gas loadshedding plan.While talking to the media, Secretary Petroleum Ijaz Chaudhry said that the session of Finance Ministry would be held.He added that shortfall of gas would increased particularly in winter season. Decision would be taken in the meeting which sector is to be given priority regarding provision of gas.He also said the CNG loadshedding cannot be decreased; rather schedule of two and half days would constantly continue.He said that the industrial sector would be provided gas in accordance with the deal regarding provision of gas for nine months.
