Summary A new writ petition has been moved in LHC against appointment of Fasih Bokhari as NAB chairman.
The writ petition has been moved by Barrister Iqbal Jaafri according to which the government has not met the legal formalities while appointing Fasih Bokhari as chairman of NAB.According to the petition, the government has neither consulted the Opposition nor the Chief Justice in this regard which shows bad intention of the government regarding appointment of new chairman.The petitioner has requested the court to declare the appointment of Fasih Bokhari as chairman null and void.
