KARACHI (Web Desk) – Thirteen Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) workers who were arrested during Rangers raid on Nine Zero will be presented before the anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Thursday, Dunya News reported.
Police will seek remand of the accused including Faisal Mota, Farhan Shabir and Aamir Saleem.
Earlier on Wednesday, five suspects were remanded in police custody for 14 days.
On March 11, a heavy contingent of Rangers personnel raided the MQM offices in central Karachi acting on an intelligence tip-off that convicted criminals were hiding inside.
More than 100 suspects were detained during the action in Azizabad area and huge quantity of weapons and ammunitions were recovered from the MQM headquarters.
MQM condemned the raid and insisted that the weapons were all legally held.
