ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – President Mamnoon Hussain on Monday has said that no one would be able to defeat us if the nation stands united. He said that it is his honour to serve this great nation as its supreme leader.
He expressed these views while addressing the parade participants in newly constructed Parade Ground near Faizabad Interchange in the federal capital.
The President said that he feels proud being the supreme leader of a great nation. He said that Pakistan attained atomic power within as many as five decades after independence. Hussain said that he would visit the militant-hit areas to meet the Pakistan Army soldiers who are countering terrorism for the protection of the country.
He vowed to continue all-out efforts to root-out terrorism.
Hussain said that Pakistan desires friendly relations with India. He also said that Afghanistan shares a rich religious harmony with Pakistan. He urged the people of the country to support the power projects initiated by the government.
He said that the United Nations Organisation (UNO) has officially increased Pakistan Maritime boundary by at least 50,000 square kilometers.
