LAHORE (Dunya News) - Dunya Media Group Chairman Mian Amer has praised former Supreme Court judge Justice (retired) Khalil-ur-Rehman Ramday for consistently upholding merit and providing guidance throughout his professional career.
The remarks were made at a ceremony held at the Civil Services Academy in Lahore on Sunday to inaugurate the Justice (r) Khalil-ur-Rehman Ramday Block.
Speaking at the event, Mian Amer highlighted his decades-long association with the retired judge, recalling his professional integrity, personal qualities and commitment to merit-based decisions.
He said Ramday had provided valuable guidance on numerous occasions and had always given precedence to merit in his decisions.

He also paid tribute to the retired judge for his guidance and services.
Federal Law Minister Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, speaking on the occasion, described Ramday as a distinguished figure in the country's history, saying he had consistently fulfilled the requirements of justice during his tenure as a judge.
Tarar also commended Ramday's contributions to education, describing his academic services as commendable.
