Summary National Party is leading the Balochistan LG polls, according to unofficial results.

QUETTA (Dunya News) - The unofficial results of local government (LG) elections in Balochistan started pouring in soon after the polling ended at 5PM on Saturday.

Dunya News was the first to on-air the results of most of the Balochistan constituencies.

According to results, National Party topped by securing 250 seats, Pakistan Mulsim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was second in the list and secured 196 while Pashtounkhwa Mili Awami Party (PKMAP) secured 182 seats.

Among the other parties, Balochistan National Party (BNP) won 92, Jamaat-e-Islami (JUI-F) 57 while 303 independent candidates were elected from different constituencies.

Meanwhile, 35 percent of seats were elected unopposed in Balochistan’s Local Bodies (LB) elections.

The voters’ turnout for 58 percent of seats was recorded 40 percent, according to ECP sources.

For district council elections, PKMAP topped the list in Quetta by securing five while JUI-F won three seats only.
In Kech, Nation party and BNP won 40 and 8 seats respectively.

In Nushki, eight independent candidates were elected while six candidates of PML-Q and 4 of JUI-Nazaryati won in Zhob.

In Panjgor, National Party 70, BNP Awami won 62 seats while in Jafarabad, 25 independent candidates and nine PML-N candidates were elected.

Eight independent candidates also won in Awaran.

In Loralai, PKMAP won 15 and independent candidates won 4 seats.

In Musa Khel, JUI-F won four, PKMAP 3 while 10 independent candidates won from Barkhan.

National Party and independent candidates secured 11 and 7 seats in mustang respectively.

JUI-F won 11 while PKMAP secured four seats in Qila Saifullah.

In Suhbat, PML-N got 11 while three independent candidates won.

In Dera Bughti independent candidates were elected from 9 seats while PML-N bagged twp seats only.

In Ziarat, PKMAP won five while JUI-F got four seats.

In Kharan, 10 seats were won by independent candidates while PML-Q bagged three seats.

In Jhal Magsi, 10 independent candidates and three PML-N while BNP secured six and JUI-F won five seats in Washq.

In Qilat, National party won 8 while six seats were secured by PML-N.

In Lasbela, PML-N 9 while seven independent candidates elected from respective constituencies.

In Gwadar, 10 candidates of Balochistan National Party (BNP) while seven seats were bagged by National Party.

PML-N candidates won 16 while four seats were secured by National party in Naseerabad. In Chagi, PML-Q 6 and Peoples party won four seats.

In Khuzdar, PML-N secured 15, National and BNP won nine seats each.

In Pashin, Pakhtunkhwa Mili Awami Party won six while JUI-F secured three seats.
