Against drone strikes: PTI's sit-in to choke Nato supply continues in Peshawar

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) and its coalition partners continue to block Nato supplies to Afghanistan for sixteenth consecutive day, Dunya News reported on Sunday.

The activists of PTI and other parties reiterated that the protest will continue till US stops drone strike in Pakistan.

Protest camps are being established at Hayatabad toll plaza to check the documents of trucks while only those are allowed that carry goods other than Nato supplies.

Strict security measures have been taken around the site to avoid any untoward situation in Peshawar.

The sit-in started following a protest rally held by cricketer turned politician Imran Khan.

The protest rally was held by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf and other political parties to condemn the drone strike in Hangu that killed six people.

Imran Khan asserted that drone strikes were in violation to international laws and should be immediately stopped.

PTI chief slammed PML-N government for its dual policy over drone strikes and announced to stage sit-in till drone strikes were completely stopped in the region.
