Summary Advertisement shows Chief Justice appearing along with Nawaz Sharif.
LAHORE (Online): Former Interior Minister Rehman Malik has demanded Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry to take a Suo Motto against the political advertisement of PML-N where Chief Justice is also shown in the said advertisement appearing along with Nawaz Sharif.
Holding a news conference here on Thursday‚ Rehman Malik said Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry was restored by the sole authority of President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari‚ but the contents in the said advertisement claim credit to PML-N chief who arranged a rally to restore him.
He said it tantamount violation of the code of the election and is motivated to gain political mileage. He questioned that whether through this advertisement‚ it has been tried to convey that judiciary was with PML-N.
