Summary Noor Alam Khan of PPP is the richest and Jamshed Dasti of PPP is the poorest former MP.

 

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued details of former parliamentarians’ and political parties’ assets.

 

According to ECP, PML-N is the richest party with Rs 80 million assets while PML-Q stands second with assets of Rs 50.14 million. ANP is third with assets of Rs 27.3 million.

 

PPP-P possesses assets of only Rs 435,000, while PTI has assets of Rs 9.46 million.

 

MQM has assets of Rs 19.7 million, JI Rs 1.85 million, AML Rs 70,000 and Pakhtunkhawa Mili Awami Party possesses assets of Rs 1.37 million.

 

According to the ECP the detail of former members of National Assembly’s assets is as under:

 

Noor Alam Khan from the PPP is the richest former MNA with assets amounting to Rs 32 billion. Jamshed Dasti has the least amount of assets with only his salary bank account.

 

Arbab Alamgir of PPP has assets of Rs 2 billion and owns an apartment in Dubai worth Rs 40 million.

 

Ghulam Ahmed Bilour from the ANP has assets worth Rs 39.4 million while ANP chief Asfandyar Wali Khan has assets worth Rs 10 million including 50 tolas of gold.

 

Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao has assets of worth 30 million and Mehboobullah Jan owns assets of more than Rs 4.5 billion.

 

Former Deputy Speaker National Assembly Faisal Karim Kundi has agricultural land worth Rs 80 million and a bank account of Rs 400, 000.

 

JUI-F chief Maualna Fazlur Rehman has assets worth over Rs 5.5 million and a bank account of Rs 1.6 million.

 

Former PML-Q and presently PML-N leader Ameer Muqam has assets worth Rs 160 million and seventeen cars.

 

Shahid Khakan Abbasi of PML-N has declares shares worth Rs 1.8 billion in Airblue, a private airline.

 

Former prime minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf has assets amounting to Rs 72 million. Ashraf has two cars valued at Rs 1.8 million, while his wife has 10 tolas of gold. The former prime minister has also taken Rs 8 million from his brother.

 

PML-N leader captain Safdar has same old assets.

 

Former Opposition leader in the National Assembly, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has has a house in Faizabad, a farm house in Chakkari and nine residential apartments in Rawalpindi. He also has Rs 8.3 million in his bank account.

 

Former deputy prime minister Pervaiz Elhai has Rs 64.1 million in his bank account, wealth worth Rs 8.9 million and investments of Rs 30.49 million.


Khawaja Asif has assets of more than 130 million, five cars and two bank accounts of his wife and daughter in the US.

 

Hamza Shahbaz owns assets of 220 million while Khawaja Saad Rafique of PML-N has assets worth Rs 100 million. He has to return a loan of Rs 40 million to his cousin.

 

Ali Musa Gilani has assets worth Rs 75. 2 million while Abdul Qadir Gilani possesses assets more than Rs 180 million and a bulletproof car.

 

Former Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar owns assets of more than Rs 13.3 million while former federal minister Khurshid Shah has assets of Rs 18 million.

 

PPP leader Faryal Talpur owns assets of more than Rs 130 million while Makhdoom Amin Fahim possesses property in Pakistan and abroad.

 

Former National Assembly Speaker Fehmida Mirza has assets of over Rs 80 million and an apartment worth Rs 15 million in Dubai.

 

MQM leader Farooq Sattar owns assets worth Rs 3.6 million and a house of more than one million.

 

Meanwhile, the Election Commission of Pakistan has issued details of assets of Senators.

 

Chairman Senate Nayyar Bukhari possesses land worth Rs 80 million. He also owns a car worth Rs 1.7 million and 35 tolas of gold.

 

PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has a house and agricultural land worth 9 million. He has also declared shares of Rs 10 million and bank balance of Rs 67 million. He does not own personal vehicle.

 

PML-Q Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed has assets of Rs 55 million. He also owns cars worth Rs 1.7 million, gold worth Rs 0.2 million and net cash of Rs 65000.

 

Raja Zafarul Haq of PML-N has property of Rs 40 million, 15 tolas of gold and bank balance of Rs 25000. Ishaq Dar of PML-N owns houses worth Rs 59.05 million. He also has a bank account of 58.06 million.

 

Mushahid Ullah of PML-N owns a house worth Rs 2.8 million and holds shares of Rs 65000. He also possess a car worth Rs 0.8 million and 20 tolas of gold.

 

PPP Senator Jahangir Badar possesses property worth Rs 5 million, a car worth Rs 1.8 million and a bank account of RS 2.3 million.

 

PPP Senator Aitzaz Ahsan has assets of Rs 800 million and two cars worth Rs 3.4 million.
