Summary The Election Commission of Pakistan has extended deadline for candidates to file nomination papers.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has extended the deadline for candidates to file nomination papers by two days on the demand of several political parties.
According to new deadline given by ECP, the candidates will now have till 31 March to file nomination papers. The scrutiny of nomination papers would be carried out from April 2-8 and the final list of candidates will be issued on April 19.
Meanwhile, all the major parties have not yet finalized candidates from all the constituencies.
