Ahmad Zia Abdulzai, a spokesman for the governor of Nangarhar province, says the three were killed on Thursday morning by a bomb that was planted in a bus. The bus was transporting policemen and trainees to a police training academy in the provincial capital of Jalalabad. He says six others on the bus were injured in the explosion. North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) says a serviceman was killed in a roadside bomb attack. The location of the explosion was not disclosed.
