Summary Balochistan Assembly has expressed resentment over appalling situation of law and order.

The members said that the administration does not take representatives of people on board on matters of national interest.The session of the provincial assembly was held on Thursday. Due to absence of the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker, MPA Abdul Rehman Jamali was in the chair.Provincial Minister Mir Zahoor Buledi said on a point of order that the law and order has turned into a dilemma in Balochistan. Political leaders and workers are being killed in pointless targeted attacks.He said that all the political parties would have to sit together and think over the mistakes seriously and find means to remove them for restoration of peace in Balochistan. He said that administrative posts should be given purely on merit instead of recommendation and political pressure. Without improving the credibility of the bureaucracy, peace could not be prevailed in the province, they said.Provincial Minister Mir Shahnawaz Mari said that the matter regarding law and order situation in the province is of grave importance and it could not be ignored. He said that bureaucracy and Frontier Constabulary are functioning according to their own desire. The people could enjoy the fruits of development if there would be peace, he added.Another provincial minister Ain Ullah Shamas said that All Parties Conference (APC) should be convened in the larger interest of Balochistan. He said that elected representatives might be assigned task for improving the situation.
