Summary Fire burnt a three-storey plaza in Islamabads Alipur Frash area.
Locals saw smoke rising from the second floor of the plaza at 7:20am on Thursday morning.The Capital Development Authority’s fire extinguishing squad reached after an hour but due to the jurisdiction clash with Rescue 1122 and CDA the extinguishing was started after two hours.The eyewitnesses said that due to the delay in fire fighter’s action, the fire caught all three floors of the building.There were shops of paint and hard wears in the plaza.The owner of the building said that due to the delay of fire fighters he had to suffer a loss of millions of rupees.Police and the plaza owner discarded that short circuit was the cause of the fire.
