Summary Employees of federal hospitals went on strike against non-acceptance of their demand.
The emergency wards of the Jinnah Hospital, NICH and NICVD were also shut as employees, including doctors, went on strike against non-payment of salaries and handing over of administration to provincial government.It is interesting to mention that the patients were being told to go to some private hospital at the gates. The patients are facing difficulties as they are not getting any treatment at these hospitals.Meanwhile, the doctors of Jinnah Hospital also blocked Shahra-e-Faisal and chanted anti-government slogans.
