Summary Police started crackdown against traders for violating ban on printing pictures on national flag.
Ban was placed on printing slogans and pictures on the national flag in order to stop the desecration.However, even after this ban the national flag with printed cartoon pictures on them were sold in various markets of Peshawar city. These markets include Qisa Khawani Baazar, Hishtangri, Ghanta Ghar, Faqirabad and Sadar Baazar.The provincial government directed the Capital City Police and the District Management to take strong action against this practice.Police have arrested the traders and the people involved in the supply of such flags.
