Summary Attempt to supply dead animals meat from Shekhupura to Ramazan Bazaars of Lahore has been foiled.
Dunya News received information that some butchers have established private slaughter houses in Mohalla Jandiala Road and Capri Park where they slaughter diseased and dead animals and then supply substandard meat to Ramazan Bazaars and hotels in different areas of Lahore.Dunya News team raided the slaughter houses on Capri Park with TMA and a police party and recovered several tons of dead animals’ meat.Police arrested 8 accused and registered a case against them. Dunya News has also been disclosing reports of dead animals’ meat several times before this.
