Summary The festival started off with the Akhand Pat ceremony in the Gurudwara Panja Sahab.
The festival was arranged to celebrate the 312th birth anniversary of the Baba Guru Gaund Singh, the virtual head of Sikhs. More than 1500 Sikh pilgrims arrived in Hassan Abdal from India.Strict security arrangements were made to avoid any untoward situation and all the ways to the Gurudwara Panja Sahab were blocked by putting barriers in the way.The ceremonies will go on till Thursday.
