Summary A fake examination centre for BA/BSc candidates has been found in Pindi Bhattian.
The centre, set up at Government Degree College, was allotted to more than 90 candidates who didn’t even belong to this district.A candidate, Hassan Ali, said that he paid Rs 150,000 to get this centre allotted to him.Things just do not end here. The supervisors in the examination centre were also fake.Three supervisors, Rana Hassan Mahmod, Abbas Ali Shah and Farooq Alam were not even the government servants.All the candidates disappeared after the scandal was unearthed.Punjab University Controller Examinations Prof Liaqat Ali said that he had the information that some fake candidates would appear in this centre. That’s why, he said, two monitoring teams were dispatched who took action with the help of local MPA and District Coordination Officer.
