Summary Shortfall of electricity has decreased after provision of oil to power generating companies.
However, there is no relief in unannounced loadshedding.According to the PEPCO power shortfall has diminished by 300MW and there is betterment in production of electricity as the PSO has been paid worth Rs 5 billion.So far as the loadshedding is concerned, there is no betterment in this regard. The citizens have to face loadshedding for more than 14 hours in different rural areas while citizens of urban areas are not in good conditions either as compared to the villages.According to Distribution Company Officials, the supply of electricity is being disconnected by Central Power Control Centre in Islamabad; that is why there is no timetable for loadshedding.
