Summary Ex-president Pervez Musharraf has hit back at Rehman Maliks allegations.
The former president said that the question is who asked Benazir Bhutto to get out of the vehicle’s latch.Pervez Musharraf said that he had warned Benazir Bhutto about security issues and threats.He said the Benazir murder case is under trial and no one should comment on it like Malik did. He said he didn’t have any contact with Benazir after Oct 18.The former president said that he is wrongly being implicated in the case to divert attention from certain other aspects of the case.He said the head of state is not obliged to give security to political leaders.Ms Bhutto was killed in a gun and bomb attack on Dec. 27, 2007, near Islamabad.Musharraf has been living in London and Dubai since he resigned in 2008.
