Summary SC has issues notices to 26 political parties on petition regarding elections expenditure.
The court also has sought explanation from the Election Commission regarding preparation of voting lists till February 29. Supreme Court three-member bench led by Shakirullah Jan conducted joint hearing of cases regarding preparation of voting lists, election expenditures and suspension of 28 assembly members.The court while showing its resentment over absence of EC members has sought reply from the Election Commission pertaining to preparation of voting lists till February 29.The counsel for the suspended MPs, Nasir Bhutta said that president would give final approval to the 20th amendment with his signature.After this, all the suspended members would be spontaneously reinstated.
