2011 a year of tense Pak-US ties: Munter

Talking to the media persons in Islamabad today‚ he said Washington sees it as an opening of an honest and firm dialogue with Islamabad in 2012 wherein interests and the values are clear and straightforward.US Ambassador to Pakistan Cameron Munter has said his country respects and welcomes the assessment that Pakistani parliament is carrying out for relationship with the United States.The ambassador admitted there are a lot of issues that need to be discussed in a candid and open manner. He said his country looks forward for building relationship and realistic cooperation with Pakistan.To another question‚ Cameron Munter expressed the confidence that all the issues including the one of NATO supply will be resolved in a positive and constructive manner.
