Summary Pakistan Railways has cancelled the trains operation owing to shortages of diesel.

The branch lines trains have been suspended as the crisis worsens due to shortage of diesel.Jaffar Express from Quetta to Rawalpindi reached after a 9-hour delay at Multan Railway Station while Hazara Express from Karachi to Havelian was late for 5 hours.Meanwhile, Awami Express from Peshawar to Karachi was delayed for 4 hours and Tezgam Express from Rawalpindi to Karachi was late for 2 hours.The passengers, on the other side, expressed serious concern over the plight of Railways which has disturbed their travelling schedule and added more problems for them.On the other hand, Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), has predicted that partially cloudy weather is expected in Multan and its adjacent areas.
