Poll adjustment with PPP to be on merit: Ch Shujaat

An important meeting of PML-Q ministers was chaired by Ch Shujaat was at his residence. National issues, current situation and performance of ministries were reviewed in detail.While setting aside misconceptions about political notions, he said that strong candidates would not be overlooked in elections, adding that adjustment with the PPP would be on merit. He said that the candidates who lost polls only by a few hundred votes are declared strong candidates.He emphasised, “I would not keep my workers, nazims and ticket-holders for sale,” adding, “we do politics of principles and would remain steadfast on these principles.”He said, “We always gave response to accusations and allegation while living in the country and did not leave the country, particularly in hard times.”
