Summary Federal minister has said that 12 percent increase will be made in electricity tariffs.
Talking to the media, Federal Minister for Water and Power Naveed Qamar said that electricity tariffs would be increased by 12 percent despite fuel adjustment charges during the current fiscal year.To a question regarding Indian Kishan Ganga Dam, the minister termed International Arbitrary Court’s interim decision a great success to Pakistan.The court has ordered a halt to the dams construction, warning that it would create problem for India if she continued work on the project till the final verdict.
