The PM took the political leadership into confidence on the security situation in the country. PM Gilani phoned PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif, Jamaat-e-Islami ameer Munawwar Hassan, PML-Q president Ch Shujaat Hussain, MQM chief Altaf Hussain, JUI-F head Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman, ANP president Asfandyar Wali and Awami League’s Shaikh Rasheed Ahmed.The PM discussed Pak-US relations with a focus on the regional situation.
