Summary 9 people were killed in gun battle between two groups in Upper Dir over a land dispute.
An old clash over ownership of property between two rival tribes of Bari Kot turned violent Sunday when both sides fired weapons against each other, said a police official. As a result of firing nine persons, including women, died on the spot, while six others suffered injuries.The injured were rushed to near hospitals where condition of some wounded was reported critical.Police reached the scene soon after the incident and started probe into the incident.
