Summary A drone has crashed in village Sanghar of South Waziristan.
The drone crashed in tehsil Makeen where the Army had launched operation, and the area has seen growing number of attacks on security check posts.The drone’s wreckage has reportedly been taken into custody by the Taliban. However, there were conflicting reports about the crash. Some reports said the drone crashed due to a technical fault while some others said it came down after being fired on.On the other hand, the Taliban were quick to claim responsibility for the crash, saying they shot the drone down.
