Summary Young doctors announced to end strike after issuance of new Ordinance on New Service.

Association’s deputy president Dr Asfandyar said that all the OPDs and Operation Theatres would be reopened from tomorrow.Dr Asfandyar Khan, while talking to the media at PIMS Islamabad, said that the government had accepted the demands of federal health employees including doctors. So, the doctors and other Paramedics would attend their duties accordingly.He informed that thousands of patients had to face difficulties due to strike of 36 days for which he and his staff were regrettable.Anyhow, they would spend extra time while rendering their services particularly during Ramazan, so that more and more patients may be relieved.Young Doctors’ spokesman Dr Anwer Taqi said that they have ended strike in consultation with the Central Executive Committee.He also thanked PM Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani and President Asif Ali Zardari over solving their problems.
