The investigation officer of NICL case Zafer Qureshi said that the government was not co-operating him in the said case. About Rs 320 million have not been recovered from Moonis Elahi.A special meeting of National Assembly’s Standing Committee for Commerce was held under the chair of Khurram Dastgir.NHA officials while briefing the committee said that Rs 22 billion were estimated for renovation of National Highways affected by transportation of NATO containers. Moreover, international border-crossing and transit fee was also under consideration.The committee also reviewed NICL case in detail. The Investigation Officer Zafer Qureshi reinstated on the SC order told the committee that there was no progress in the proceeding of case.He stated that his team had recovered more than one billion rupees from defaulters of this case, but nothing can be recovered from Moonis Elahi till now.FIA Karachi Deputy Director Altaf Hussain said that Makhdoom Amin Fahim had no link with the said case.
