Summary At least, more 18 villages in district Kasur were inundated due to flood in Sutlej River.
The affected people have not been provided with proper assistance.At present, the flow of 18,000 cusecs is passing at Ganda Singh in Kasur due to which more than 18 villages and thousands of acres agriculture land was inundated.The affected people were of the view as the Revenue Department was busy in ‘protocol duty’ rather than providing proper relief to the affected people.People are trying to shifting to peaceful and secure places by their own. Most of the flooded houses have been demolished.
