NICL case: SC warns government enough is enough

Summary The Supreme Court has warned the government against delaying tactics in the NICL case.

Heading a three-member bench, Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry asked the Attorney General about the names of the accused living abroad and needed to be arrested.The AG said that he couldn’t have a contact with the competent authority to find out, therefore he be given time. The CJP said the court had given enough time already; now the matter should be taken seriously. He also asked the AG to produce the reaction of the Establishment Secretary on the suspension of Zafar Qureshi.
