Surplus KESC employees' protest outside Governors House enters 3rd day

Summary Protest by surplus employees of KESC continued outside Sindh Governors House for third day.

The KESC administration, on the other hand, has decided not to restore the surplus employees at any cost.It has been 80 days since the employees started their protest, and it’s their protest for a third day outside the Governor’s House. Acting Sindh Governor Nisar Khurro had promised to look into their demands, but nothing concrete has been done. The protest is being led by CBA Chairman Ikhlaq Ahmed.KESC administration also claims that 2800 of the 4500 surplus employees have agreed to accept voluntarily ‘retirement’ scheme. The union of workers says they would chalk out a new strategy on Sunday evening.
