Worst load shedding continues as shortfall reaches 5,800MW

According to PEPCO official, the country is producing 12,044MW electricity, while the demand has reached 18,035MW. The unannounced loadshedding has affected industrial and business life across the country. Power loadshedding continued up to 12 hours in urban areas while 14 hours in rural areas.
