Summary Committees will be formed to promote kitchen gardening in the province, says CM.
Presiding over a meeting regarding kitchen gardening, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that steps would be taken to increase the vegetable yield and kitchen gardening, adding that committees would be established at district and tehsil levels for this purpose and he would monitor them. He stated that cultivation of vegetables at vacant land would be encouraged. Secretary agriculture told the meeting that 30,000 packets of vegetable seed had been distributed in the province.
