Summary The Lahore High Court chief justice has granted the plea to reopen Ghazi Ilam Din Shaheed case.

The application said Ghazi Ilam Din was a hero and he was hanged on the order of a British judge. The court was asked to declare the execution verdict null and void. The court accepted the case for hearing and has ordered the federal and provincial government to explain weather a case can be reopened after 82 years.
