Hamesh takes Rs 90 million bonus despite losses in BoP

According to the report, Punjab Chief Secretary Kamran Rasool worked in a private company after taking a long leave from the office.On the other hand, BoP president Hamesh Khan took Rs 90 million bonus and pride of performance award by showing losses into profit in the bank accounts. Hamesh took the stance that the board of directors was responsible for any malpractice in the bank loans.Additional Inspector General of Punjab Police Aftab Sultan had presented the investigation report in the court.Advocate General Khawaja Haris told the court that the bank owed Rs 8.8 billion to the lending agencies in 2008, but even than a profit had been shown in the bank accounts. Haris submitted that the board of directors made a company of their own and took billions of rupees loan.The chief justice said that if this was the situation of the bankers, what would happen to the account holders.Justice Sire Ali said that banks extend loans to whosoever the want to benefit after writing his loans.
