Summary The power outage has increased as electricity short fall has gone beyond 4,300 megawatt.
Rains kept the weather pleasant in Punjab and the electricity demand did not increase in the province but no relief was given to the people. The urban areas of the province are facing six to eight hours load shedding while the rural areas are facing a power outage of 10 hours a day. The power crisis has worsened in Faisalabad where the citizens are facing 12 hours a day load shedding.People are facing a four to six hour load shedding in various areas of Karachi. Apart from the scheduled load shedding, citizens have to bear long hours of power outage due to technical faults.
