Summary An additional district and session judge, Yousaf Aojla, on Thursday rejected a petition filed by US citizen Raymond Davis for diplomatic immunity.
During the hearing of the petition, the court observed that the defendant had not provided any supporting document to prove that he enjoyed diplomatic immunity and that the Pakistani courts can hear the murder trial.The court has adjourned the hearing of murder trial till March 8. The court has also extended the judicial remand of Davis for 14-days. On the other hand, brothers of deceased have alleged that Raymond is not treated like a prisoner in the jail.
