Summary Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Thursday claimed that fool proof security was provided to the slain minister Shahbaz Bhatti. He said that his death was the result of his own negligence.
Talking to the media outside the Parliament House, Rehman Malik said that an escort of 15 armed personnel was provided to the minister, but he did not avail it during his preferred and frequented destinations. He said that the minister was killed in a well-planned manner. The minister said various clues had been found in the killing of Bhatti that would lead the investigators to grab those who orchestrated this shameful act. He maintained that every aspect of this case was being looked into thoroughly and if anyone even from the police found guilty of negligence would be punished.
