Summary Rabita Committee of MQM has said that President and Prime Minister must play their responsible role for release of Pakistanis kidnapped by Somali pirates.
MQM’s Rabita Committee said in a statement that Pakistani Captain Wasi and his crew-members onboard an Egyptian ship were kidnapped by Somali pirates in August 2010. Several months have passed till now and Foreign Ministry and Ministry of Ports and Shipping have not taken any measures for the release of these Pakistanis, which is disappointing. Rabita Committee have demanded from President and PM to play a vital role for the release of kidnapped Captain Wasi and his crew members.
