Summary Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that government does not want any kind of confrontation. If all the parties can not resolve peoples issues, then a single party can not even do this task.

In the meeting presided by Prime Minister, it was discussed to safeguard the alliance government of PML-N and PPP in Punjab. Soon after this meeting, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcast Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan gave a briefing to media in which she stated that PM Gilani has said that PPP’s government does not want politics of confrontation and he hopes to resolve all matters through dialogue.Prime Minister said that government is fully aware of the fact that due to global recession, the prices of basic commodities have reached sky-high and out of reach of a common man. However government is determined to provide all basic commodities to common man at subsidised rates. He also mentioned that we have gained success in war on terror with the help of people and political parties and we will soon get rid of this curse.
