Summary Police with the help of influential raided a house in Chinab Nagar and tortured women and girls. Local influential had registered cases against Safdar of Mozah Yakay.
Sub-inspector Manazar, 5 constables and influential of the areas raided the house of Safdar’s uncles Sarfaraz and Ismael for his search. Police baton-charged women and girls and dragged an aged woman in the street. Sahib Bibi’s leg and arm while Shamim Bibi’s arm were broken. Another woman was also injured. Police took Rs 3 lakh, 10 cattle, mobile phone and other things with them. Locals of the area staged protest against the police.
