Kandhkot: Citizens hold sit-in protest against kidnapping

Summary Social and political organizations held protest sit-in for the recovery of 3 persons kidnapped from different areas of Kashmore district, Dunya News reported on Saturday. The protesters appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take notice of the issue.

The civil society and political organizations and held a sit-in protest in front of DPO office and blocked the traffic. The protesters said that the police could not recover 3 years old Tranjeet, Zaheer Noori Nari 25, and Farzana who had been kidnapped from Kandhkot area of Kashmore about 2 months back.The protest rally was organized on the request of the families of kidnapped persons which at the end held a protest sit-in. The protesters threatened to launch a hunger strike if the early release of the kidnapped was not made possible.The participants appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take the notice of the incident.
