Summary A railway employee attempted self-immolation in Multan after his job wasnt restored. His 10 percent body was burnt in the incident.
Zafar Abbas was appointed clerk in Pakistan Railways some 19 years ago but he was not given any responsibility. Later on, the department refused to accept him as an employee. After Zafar’s protest, DS Railway assured his restoration but he is still not restored. Helpless Zafar attempted self-immolation but citizens timely saved him after dowsing the fire.
