ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar on Tuesday said that the work to correct flaws of the Election Commission is ongoing, adding that the demand of resignation from the ECP members is not right, Dunya News reported.

According to details, Dar claimed that everything is well, adding that 80% of work for electoral reforms has been completed. He said that political parties have even agreed on 13 constitutional amendments in this regard.

The federal minister said that one law is being made after combining six different ones. He said the elimination of ECP flaws is in process.

Ishaq Dar said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan People’s Party’s (PPP) demand of ECP members’ resignation is not right. He told that fresh census is expecting under army’s supervision next year in March.
