Summary PTI's membership is not due to the support from any political party but due to law, says PTI leader
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Umar has on Tuesday said that PTI’s membership of the parliament does not hinge upon support from any political party but upon law; people elected PTI to the assemblies. However, the PTI leader said that PTI would accept assembly’s decision on its membership, reported Dunya News.
Holding a press conference in Islamabad, Asad Umar said that opposition members did whatever they could to bring us back into the assemblies. “Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader Tallal Choudry makes noise like a fifth-standard kid, never seen Daniyal Aziz during the negotiations. Daniyal Aziz has only read the agreement. We wrote it. We know it better than him. The agreement does not say that we would not be able to say anything after the judicial commission’s report”, said Umar.
Announcing the inauguration of PTI’s Free Legal Aid Service in Islamabad on this occasion, Asad Umar said that the poor do not have the access to justice. “A poor man does not even know how to file an application in the court”, he said. PTI leader said that the only crime the people living in Islamabad’s slums have committed is that they are poor.
