Summary PTI should remain in parliament, said the opposition leader
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Opposition leader Khurshid Shah demanded the resignation of members of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday. He said that members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) should stay in the parliament, reported Dunya News.
Talking to media, the opposition leader said that members of ECP should resign after the report of Inquiry Commission. He said that leaving the seats might be difficult but it is not as important as maintaining self respect.
He further said that PTI should remain in parliament adding that People’s Party does not need ministries but are looking to safeguard democracy.
Khurshid Shah said that they had cordial relations with Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM). Government should also bring MQM to mainstream.
