ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has submitted a resolution in the National Assembly secretariat against alleged anti-army remarks by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan.
MQM MNA Sheikh Salahuddin tabled the resolution.
The resolution states that Imran Khan’s leaked video available on social media in which he has made defamatory remarks against army generals is highly condemnable. His statement is contemptuous, ridiculing and derogatory to the Pakistan army.
The MQM demanded that the government should take stern action in accordance with law against the PTI leader.
